| Systematic studies on two plastic fire clays from different localities
in Andhra Pradesh were carried out with a view to evaluating their
suitability for use with graphite containing refractory products. Their
physical, chemical, pyrochemical, mineralogical and refractory
properties have been evaluated. It has been found that one of the
clays is more suitable as it gives better bonding and strength than
the other. |
