| A rapid and accurate method for the determination of zinc in glass and ceramic material has
been described. ,Zinc is separated as zinc sulphide from other constituents including R203 group
elements and rare earths in formic acid medium, and after dissolution of zinc sulphide in HCI and
boiling off H2S zinc is titrated with EDTA at pH 5.3 using xylenol orange as indicator. |
