| The structure of talc, its properties and (jfect of heat on
its various propet·ties have been discussed in the form of survey
of literature. Three different samples of talc from different
localities viz. Udaipu1·, Jaipw· and Rupaurd Wt!-re talcen and
thei1· various properties have been studied. The properties
investi~ated include chemiertl analysis, differential thermal
analysis, petrological studies and particle size distribution of
powdered talc samples. The Pjfect of heat on these samples
of t(1lcs with rega1·d to specific gravity changes, shrinkage,
linelr thermal expansion, weight loss behaviour and other
stnwtural changes have been determined. |
