| Differ.mtial Thermal Analysis method has been used to
indiaate and estimate tlw amount of free quat·tz present in a
.ftw lndian alays, chromites, bauxites, lcyanite, sillimanite ana
magnesite. The method suitable for this purpose has been
aescribed and the advantages and disadvantages have been
