| Mr. President and friends,
The Working Committee passed a resolution for eelebraLing
the Silver Jubilee along with the 18th Annual General Meeting
of the SoGiety at the Banaras Hindu University, headquarters
of the Society. Following the said resolution, the Banaras Hindu
University also extended their kind invitation to the Soeiety
for holding the session. The work of the Silver Jubilee
was entrusted to a Committee with Sri C. P. Shah of Bombay
Potteries & Tiles Ltd., Bombay as its Chairman. The Silver
Jubilee Committee in its meeting held on 18th March, '53 at
Caleutta considered the programme of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
