| Abstract |
| The mineral fluorspar, which is commercially used in steel,
aluminium, cyanamide, enamel and hydrofluoric acid industries
i,s of rare occurrence in India. The only known deposit occurs
in Khairagarh and Nandgaon of Madhya Pradeshl which has
been worked by Messrs Tata Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. Another
workable area has been found out in the course of a mineral
survey work in the vicinity of the village Malhan,2 situated
near Katni (Lat. N 80°31'23" : Long. E 23°40'21"). |
