| An investigation on the use of Indian zircon sand in
enamel for iron and steel was done in the Department of
Ceramics, Benares Hindu University, in the year
1945. A :r;eport of that investigation was submitted at the
last Meeting of the Indian Ceramic Society at Benares
and it has been published in the Transactions of the Indian
Ceramic Society, Vol. V. No. 1. Further work was then
undertaken on the use of Indian zircon sand in ceramic
glazes maturing at earthenware and porcelain temperatures
on cane coloured bodies. |
