| Abstract |
| Gentlemen,
It is indeed a great pleasure to me to be htre this
afternoon with the leading ceramists of the country.
You all know that the Indian Ceramic Society was
started on the 15th of April, 1928 in this University
and the first inaugural welcome address was given
by Revered Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviyaji. the founder
of this University. I con~ider it a proud privilege
to welcome you all and specially the two new sister
Associations, viz. 'The All India Iron Enamelled Ware
Manufacturers' Association' and 'The All India Pottery
Manufacturers' Association' of the Indian Ceramic
Society .. I hope the· three institutions have many things
in common so much so that the place of their origin,
i.e. the Renares Hindu University is also common.
The 16th March, 1946 will be a memorable date as the
foundation day of the said two Associations. Having so
much in common, I hope there will be great cooperation
and co-ordination of work of these Associations with the
Indian Ceramic Society. |
