| Microwave dielectric ceramics with the :general formula
A5Nb1Ta .... 10 15 (A= Ba, Sr, Mg for x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) were prepared
by the conventional solid-state ceramic route. The dielectric properties
were measured in the microwave frequency region. The
ceramics have high dielectric constant (10.6-41), high Q factor
(Qxf up to 37350) and low temperature coefficient of resonant
frequencies (- 55 to + 78 ppm/"C). The solid solutions show
intermediate microwave dielectric properties of the parent
ceramics except for Sr5Nb4_1 Ta10 15, where a gradual decrease
in dielectric constant followed by a drastic increase for the end
member Sr5Ta40 15 is observed. |
