| Abstract |
| The massive expansion of glass industry in India, espeeiaUy
sheet glass industry over the last 15 years has, of necessity, led
to a tremendous growth in the demand for silica sand. Reserves
of superior quality sand are fast depleting. Thorough
benefieiation of the available inferior quality sand is, therefore,
becoming a necessity. It will be prudent at this juncture to make
an exhaustive review of glass sand benefieiation methods and
technology available. |
