Abstract
Rheological properties of aqueous suspensions of silicon carbide were studied in relation to solid carbon additive and particle size distribution. A qualitative relationship between rheological parameters and particle size factor has been worked out. Carbon inOuences the Dow characteristics through modification offloc structure in the suspension. Relative viscosity and Ouid consistency were found to increase with increase in the ratio of finer and coarser particles.
