| Bulk of the modern applications of electronic ceramics require the
ceramics in thin sheet form. There are a number of methods of making
thin ceramics, out of which the tape casting process is the most
widely used. This review covers different applications of thin ceramics
and the methods of making them, with particular emphasis on the
tape casting process. The possible future developments, the present
status of development in India and the possible fall-outs of this process
are briefly reviewed. |
