| Abstract |
| Browns single parameter linear double exponential smoothing and
quadratic triple exponential smoothing methods have been applied
to the production data (1967-1986) of 11 Indian major refractory
raw materials to forecast their production pattern by the turn of this
century. An empirical equation previously proposed for this purpose
was found to be inadequate for interpreting the production trends. |
