primary objective of any diversification plan is to reduce
risk in business. Any industrial establishment small or
big, tries to obtain excellence and leadership in one
field or the other, for which it is established. Efforts are
made or knowledge is borrowed so that specialisation is
possible in one or more of the following areas of the
particular field:

(ii) Process technology, and
